Using AR technology textbooks and educational AR | ARと教育 AR技術を利用した教科書 #AR

今回ご紹介するのはARを教科書に結びつけたAR教科書「Augmented Reality for Educational Textbooks」です。

紙ベースの教科書では平面の情報を表示する事は容易に行う事が出来ますが、三次元の立体や時間変化をグラフや画像で表すと途端にイメージするのが難しくなります。しかしながら、このAR教科書はARマーカーを使用する事で、立体の図形表示を可能とし、様々な角度から目標の図形を観察する事が可能となっています。ソナーの原理などもARを利用した動画で説明を行っており、より直感的な理解を得る事が出来るようになっています。

図形などは見る角度によって全く違う解釈を得る事が出来るので、ARを利用して切り口や見る角度を立体表示する事は学習の大きな助けになりそうですね。
